In the depths of adversity, exclusion and doubt Light Up Burn Out’s light was kindled. In 2023, amidst severe burnout and the challenges of being a disabled job seeker, our founder Sorcha discovered a defiant spark within herself. Refusing to succumb to the darkness, she lit a candle, practised mindfulness and ultimately decided to look within herself to find a pathway forward. This act of rebellion against self-doubt marked the beginning of Light Up Burn Out.

It’s why we see Light Up Burn Outas more than a candle brand; it’s a testament to the resilience of the human spirit, a symbol of the calm that can be found amidst the chaos, and a reminder that there is always light, even in the darkest corners. Each candle we create carries Sorcha’s spirit, embodying resilience, mindfulness, and empowerment.
